Weekly Assignments and Information for May 11 – May 15

Computer Explorers Monday, May 11 from 11:30 – 1:30. Wear class t-shirts with jeans or uniform bottoms. Bring lunch to eat in classroom  at 10:50 due to Computer Explorers class. We will have our snack in the afternoon due to the early lunch.

Tuesday, May 12 is Field Day, 8:45 – 11:30

Wear class t-shirt and athletic wear shorts and shoes.        

Wednesday – AR store!!!

Reading: No F & F unit.  We will work on comprehension, phonics and read stories from a basal reader.

English: Chapter 19

Math: We will learn -9 math facts. Please practice/review facts at home. Please look at the daily sheets to see if your child needs help with any skills.

**Friday May 8 – Field Day for 1^st – 3^rd  ( 12:15 or so) We will have a picnic lunch on this day before we go to field day. Send sack lunch!

Friday May 8 -ALL LIBRARY BOOKS DUE – LAST DAY TO TEST!

**Monday May 11 – Computer Explorers/This activity is in place of leaving campus for a field trip.  The class will build a lego structure and control it with the computer.  This is a great computer science/technology program.  SEND SACK LUNCH -We will need to eat lunch at 11:00 before our class and have an afternoon snack.

Thursday May 14 – Lemonade Stands

Monday May 18 – Award and Party Day - We will have our class awards at 8:30 – 9:15, eat a snack , then arrive at the YMCA for our Swim party/Luau from 10:00 – 12:30.  We will have a pizza lunch at 12:30.

Wednesday May 20, Thurs., May 21 and Friday May 22 are all ½ days with dismissal at 11:30.  

May 22 – Last Day of School

English:  We will test on chapter 17 Tuesday.  Study the synonyms, antonyms and vocabulary word.

Math: We will learn -9 math facts. Please practice/review facts at home. Please look at the daily sheets to see if your child needs help with any skills.

Weekly Assignments and Information for April 27 – May 1

Booserthon Fun Run is  Mon. April 27!!!

Wear your  Fun Run t-shirt, athletic shoes and shorts!

We will meet on the field out front near the entrance at 8:45.

***If it rains, we will be in the High School Gym at 10:45

We will participate in the Explore Zone next Friday, which is science  activities provided by the high school science classes.
