Reminders for the short week of Mar. 30 – Apr.2
·      THURSDAY - Skill Knowledge Test and Vocabulary test

This is the unit Collection and Classification.  Study the study guide in the red reading folder. As always, they need to know the pattern statement, process questions and the vocabulary words. They need to be able to draw the visual tool. This is what we practice daily in class.

New Testament books of the week:  Jude

Study the NT books covered and be able to spell them correctly for the test on Friday:  Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, Romans,
I Corinthians, II Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, I Thessalonians, II Thessalonians, I Timothy, II Timothy, Titus, Philemon, Hebrews, James, I Peter, II Peter, I John, II John and III John, Jude will be written on the back.
(Your child may work ahead to learn Revelation.) When they can spell all the books correctly in the correct order, they do not have to write them on the back each week.

We will be working on our biographies in class as well.

English: We will continue chapter 13.  Study the synonyms and antonyms. Review with your child the difference in a complete sentence and a fragment.  A sentence must have a subject and a verb.  A fragment will only have a subject or a verb, not both.
  
Math: We will continue learning -6 math facts.  Please practice facts at home. Please look at the daily sheets to see if your child needs help with any skills.

If you have not returned the yellow sheet with the address of the person that your child will mail their Flat Self to, please do so ASAP. This should be a person willing to take pictures and write a letter about their travels.
