Conference Day is Friday, 9-12 - NO SCHOOL 

Bible and Spelling tests will be on Thursday!

**Homework assignments will be written in the assignment pad daily. 

 INITIAL THE PAD DAILY PLEASE – RETURN WRITTEN HOMEWORK.  EACH TIME A HOMEWORK IS NOT RETURNED IT IS -5 FROM THEIR HOMEWORK GRADE IN THAT SUBJECT.

 

Bible verse:   You who love the Lord, hate evil!  He preserves the souls of His saints.  (Psalm 97:10)  Matthew, Mark, Luke , John will be written on the back of the paper.

New Testament Book of the week:  John

Reading:  We will begin a new unit called, Sequence of Events.  The new sheet with the pattern statement, process questions and vocabulary will be in the front of the red reading folder.  Your child will be required to learn 3 of the 8 process questions and be able to write these for the test.  

English: Continue learning capitalization and punctuation rules as well as antonyms and synonyms. Remember to study the vocabulary, antonyms and synonyms for each chapter.  The word for chapter 3 is moist.  Look on the peach page in the blue English folder. 

Math:  Various math skills and math facts adding 0, 1 and 2.  Their new facts are adding 2.  Study facts daily 

IXL: E2 (ways to make a number, sums to 10) complete this skill by Friday, 9-12.

Science: Tropical Rain Forest

AR in computer lab on Thursday.  Have five or more books ready to be tested.
